Recommended Fuel

I don't get my Lexus for 2 weeks, hte indicated premium fuel is recommended

Our regual is 87 ,Mid-grade - 89 , Premium - 91

My Audi can use mid grade what does the Lexus manual say for fuel, and what would you guys recommend?

It says 91 octane or above. And I use Chevron 92 octane ;)

Don't even think to use anything less than premium 91 octane! It is a premium automobil and as such, deserves the best.

Lexus recommends premium gas for a good reason.

Use Sunoco Ultra 94.....it's the best in Canada. ;) Especially now that it's less than $0.90 a litre....at least in these parts.

Its a ~$40k car, the extra $3.00 or so every time you fill it up is worthwhile.

Hi there LEXUSFREAK,

I don't know for sure but I don't think we have SUNOCO in this part of Canada. I usually fill-up with premium at the Superstore.

I am not really sure about the quality of their gas but it seem to do no harm to my vehicle.

Other brands here are; Chevron (which I use when getting gas across the border), Shell, Petro Can., Husky.

Would you recommend any of the above?.
