justinelia Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Hi everyone, I have a 2006 Lexus is 250. It has 64,000km's. In the last week, every time I start the car, the engine constantly makes a rattling sound. It sounds like a bearing is loose. Its due for an oil change and I'm taking it in on Thursday; however, my oil levels are fine and don't think that is the problem. Has anyone had this problem? If so, please explain. NicLX470 Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 I think that noise is normal. Every 2nd gen IS I have seen makes a wierd click noise from like the fan belt or something.
