cliffypitbull Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 On the right hand side of your climate controls there should be a OPEN and CLOSE button for the top. You have to make sure there is nothing in the trunk that will impair the top from folding all the way down into the trunk. And you have to make sure the "flap" is in place in the trunk or the top won't work. Whoever sold you the car didn't explain any of this stuff? cliffypitbull Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Open your trunk and near the back of the trunk( close to the back seats) there should be a "flap" that needs to be in place for the top to work. Pull that flap towards you and near the front there should be two slots that the flap goes into. It is a safety device so you don't wreck your top or crush something that may be in the trunk. inicol63 Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 There is a switch in the gloove box that sounds like it been knock if you engage the switch and have the cargo cover in the boot lock in place then hit the dash board switch and it should work.
