trofiser000 Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 my lexus was in accident i bought it of th acution i fixed it up. now i have only one problem is that my airbag light is on, i took it to the shop they hooked up computer and read wat was wrong, it said that i had left and right seat air bag malfunction likre the connection and in left and right side panel seatbelts malfunction i checked it seeed good to me. umm my steering wheel airbag was blown and driver side seat belt was too so i got new airbag new setbelt and i changed my computer they were all from the 99 gs 300 and i just wanted to try to reset srs how do i do that? GuyTelefunken Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 The self diagnostics of the SRS ECM would turn off the light automatically if the fault was fixed. Apparently, the problem you thought you fixed was not. Additionally, the SRS ECM is different for a 2001 and a 1999. They are not compatible.
