grognon
Bainzey, you have a generation 2/3 navigation system, which never lost the override hack. The OP has a 2009 RX350 with a Generation 5 system, which lost access to the override menu after 5.1. To regain this feature, he has to either use a 5.1 disc, or can use a hybrid 8.1/5.1 disc. I've finally gotten the 8.1/5.1 disc to work with the generation 5 system. How do you make the hybrid disk ??? I have the ISO file but that's it. sartask
OK....trying to do this with two different country CDs. Is the loading.kiwi file the only one I need to copy over to get the system to recognize the Australian maps? There seems to be an issue with the disk reader not being able to read the Australian DVD outright. Some of the posts I've read on different sites mention that the US maps DVD is a different region than Australia, just like movie DVDs. However, someone in Germany who imported their Lexus from the States was able to burn a hybrid disk using the US files with German maps but didn't post how he did it. Can someone PLEASE help explain how to burn this hybrid disk??
Satz
Mine's an 07 build RX350 with built in Nav. I've read all the discussion, but was wondering whether there is a way just to bypass the "I Agree" screen automatically? I don't mind not being able to program the Dest on the move, but just having to press "I Agree" irritates me! thank you S
