04 Es330 Ac Controller Lighting Not Working

The lighting for the right side of my AC/Heating controller unit on my '04 ES330 has stopped working or burned out; making the buttons hard to press and locate at night.

I've had to replace the small light bulbs on a friend's '98 Camry's AC controller in the past, but I figured the ES330 should use LEDS instead of bulbs (but it seems like LEDs shouldn't be burned out already)... Has anyone else with an ES330 had this problem? Did you have to replace the whole dash controller unit or was the lighting (bulb/LED) replaceable on the back of the unit?

I had this problem. The entire unit had to be replaced as per the Lexus dealer...it was under warranty so I didn't care...

They said you could not access the bulbs (they are bulbs, no LEDs) and that the unit was completely sealed.
