on my old 1993 es mine burnt out, like the whole unit and even though i didnt smoke i replaced the whole assy (ebay) as i did use a radar detector and my phone charger. ALSO, u know your posting about a ES series lexus in the GS section of the forum. might be able to get better help in the ES section sir. but like djspawn said try the fuse first then i might look into replacing the whole assy might be able to get one from a junkyard cheap

Yeah--you'll want to look into replacing the cig lighter. You can find replacements for $5 at your local auto parts store--normally easy to replace too, on most cars just two wires. But def check your fuse first.
