While The Intake Manifold Is Off....

I'm doing my valve covers and distributor o-ring--as they were all leaking oil. While I'm in there I'm going to do the basic stuff--replace PCV, spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor rotor, and any hoses I see that are too brittle (I cut some of em off anyways).

My question is--Seeing as how getting the intake manifold off was a pain--what other maintenance/repairs should I do while I'm in there--I don't want to do have to remove it again soon.

while you have the manifold off, you could also clean the idle air control valve. Much easier to clean with the manifold off.
