TheKram Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I have the opportunity to buy a mint-condition 2004 Lexus ES330 for 4500. How are these cars compared to others in their price range? Are there major mechanical errors that are known?

Are there major mechanical errors that are known? always same answer, great reliable cars. I would be curious on how you got it so cheap and the mileage on it... there are no known common major mechanical errors all the known problems are low cost fixes if not DIY, the only recall was front passenger seat belt buckle source: mitchell1 mechanic software
TheKram Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 Some lady is desperate for money, just got in a divorce and has two kids and needs to pay the mortgage. So she's selling her paid off lexus for 4500. Its only got like 5400 miles on it. :)

SW03ES Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 Where did you hear about this deal? I'd be extremely skeptical. That car is probably $10,000 underpriced and even if she were to just take it to a Lexus dealer they would give her way more than that for it. If its too good to be true, it probably is.
