Maintenance Light Flashes Inconsistently...

So i get in the car the other day to head to wprk and see my maintenance light flashing (maint reqd) on the dash. After awhile it goes away and since i didnt have time to check anything right then, i drive to work. Car runs fine, no noises or anything out of the ordinary.

It does the same thing when i leave at the end of the day. Then no light for three days. Now it just started doing it again, three days after the light originally came on. Do i need to get the code checked for the light, or is it caused by something i can fix? Oil change 560 miles ago and all fluids and "necessities" in order. Any ideas?

That light is based on mileage and just needs to be reset. It will come on as you describe and then later stay on. Here's how to reset it.
