DWNC Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Is there a way to get rid of the caution screen that appears on the navigation monitor each time you start the car? I have just turned off the system until finding a way. I have been told of some after market sources but would like to hear from those of you who have already done this. Thanks, David 2006 LS430
05silverls430 Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 A lot of the loaner cars that I've been in have an iPod adapter (after market) installed that automatically bypasses the disclaimer screen. It will still show up, but only for a few seconds, then it goes to the map. I think the iPod adapter they use is the Vais Tech model.
SW03ES Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 The Vaistech will do that on the newer models. Honestly? You get used to just hitting the button. I've been hitting the button for going on 6 years now...
