PhoneDrome Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Hi, I'm from Germany and driving an '99 IS200 Sport. I'm searching for a set of SwayBars, Anti-Roll-Kit. I wonder if the sways of the US IS300 are the same as on my euro-IS. So i would be very happy, if somebody can post me the part-numbers of the US-IS-Sways, so that i would be able to compare them. If they have the same numbers i would go for a set of Hotchkis-Sways. What do you think about this choise? My babe on winterballoons and 1"-Eibach fitted
bartkat Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 You might check at this site for Hotchkis sways. They have tested them and should know if they will fit your car. http://www.is300.net/store/customer/produc...1&cat=22&page=2 Here also is the Hotchkis web page with their item number for the IS300 http://www.is300.net/store/customer/produc...1&cat=22&page=2
PhoneDrome Posted December 19, 2003 Author Posted December 19, 2003 I know this site very well. That's why I want the Hotchkis. ;) But will they fit under my EURO IS200 sport? What if I buy them and they won't fit? I have to be sure, otherwise they will become very expensive. dis is very cool english :P hihi
Supra-chargedIS340 Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 The sway bars will fit Phonedrome, as will the TRD yellows or reds i have the TRD yellows and rate them highly
PhoneDrome Posted December 19, 2003 Author Posted December 19, 2003 Danke Mat :D matto-dai-taabo-san That's the info I searched for. But the TRDs are very expensive I think. Funny thing: In Germany you cannot buy Eibach-Sways from Eibach. You have to buy them from TTE. Very, very expensive. So I'll look for TRD and Hotchkis. The price (and shipping/tax) will make the decision.
Supra-chargedIS340 Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 i can get you the TRD ones from either the UK or from TTE :whistles: IF you order the TRD from the UK it wont cost as much as ordering from the US, the shipping and then import tax is very high from the US to germany, there is no import tax from UK to Germany drop me a pm if you want to know more....... or even give us a call, Redneck is at my house now.so he will be able to explain better i will drop you a PM with my home number now mat
