captainsgs Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Hi , I have 2000 GS 300 and trying to replace my OEM wheels to Sport Max 941 (17X07 5X100/5X4.5 GM ST) and with Hankook H405 (TIRE 225-50-17 HR) Low profiles. Actaully My whell size is 16" is it ok to replace with 17" or 18" ? will it cause any obstruction while turning the wheels?
mlgs300 Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 That's a good combination. 17's or 18's will not cause any issues. You might run into fitment problems if you lower the car and start putting on 19's and such.

RI-Lex Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 you can 22's if you want, the most important thing is the offset of the wheel, and if you slam it basically.
sakataj Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 IMHO 19's are the biggest that look good on the gs.....slammed of course but i just dont like 20's. thats just me though!! brian

No problems with the 17s....however, you may consider adding spacers to push the wheels out a bit....so its a near flush to the fenders.
