ucflexus Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 I just bought a used 2006 Lexus ES330. It has a XM/AM button on the screen. I thought this unit came with Sat radio has a regular feature. I hit the AM button and all I get is the AM option. I called XM and they said I should be able to tune to channel 0 and get the radio ID to turn on the service. Anyone know if my car just does not have the sat feature or if i need to do something to bring up the XM feature? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
don sug Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 I have a 2005 300es with the same radio button. I asked the dealer why I don't have xm radio. He said that the cars did not automatically have xm radio installed. If you want satellite radio, you have to get a certain module installed into the car.
