ScottW84 Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 I have a 1992 ES 300, and all of a sudden the other day it began running very loudly, I mean its annoying, and a check engine light came on! It was making gurgling sounds when I accelerated as well. Can anyone help me figure out what it could be. It is bad when I first start the car and when I accelerate. I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks, Scott

dcfish Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 The flex pipe/exhaust pipe that is under the firewall area has cracked ( making the car loud ) and you are throwing codes because the o2 sensor is getting a faulty reading. Just a thought.
