hothummer
I picked up my new 08 250 MT 5 days ago and although I love it!!, I am experiencing the same fluttering and loud shifting between first and second at low rpms. I am taking it in at 1600 km for its first inspection and wondered how best to position this problem to the dealership so that they will not blow me off and not take it seriously. Is there a legitimate repair option that they can do to eliminate the problem? In the past, with other cars, it doesn't matter that there are millions of people posting online about a problem - if the OEM hasn't release a TSB, they won't do anything. smooth1
A legitimate issue is still covered by a warrentee even if there is no TSB to referrence though. I would call the service department and ask for someone. Then explain the issue. So when you go in, they are expecting you, and are already aware of the problem. Maybe tell them you need someone to go on a ride along so you can have them feel what you feel so they can expereince it first hand. Once they acknowledge that the problem exsists, they will have to address it.
