fordsvtmfl
I have a 98 Gs300, and when I replaced some of the spark plugs I noticed a puddle of oil on/around the last 2 plugs. Any Idea what it is? A friend said head gasket leak, dad thought valve cover leak... Thanks
djspawn00
Valve Cover Gasket is the usual cause of this on many cars.. a head gasket leak would be noticable if you had overheating, coolant in your oil, loss of coolant, white smoke from you exhaust... its probably just the valve cover gasket which should not be too difficult to change... I'm thinking about changing mine in a few months when I get my timing belt done just so that I don't have to worry about it later.

Happy65
When you changed the plugs did you remove the throttle body and if so did you have to replace the gasket? happy65
