silvermate Posted December 8, 2003 Share Posted December 8, 2003 hey guys. lately the emergency brake symbol on my dash is staying lit up when i drive, and when i take the e-brake off when i put it in gear the light stays on. and i make sure the e-brake is totally out. but it won't go off. any suggestions. tansupplyman Posted December 8, 2003 Share Posted December 8, 2003 I have to spray WD-40 on the linkage[under the dash] about every 3-4 months--this is because at that point in time the release has to be pulled 2-3 times to make the bulb go off (the 1st pull releases the brakes). Don't think this would work if the bulb never went out, but might try.... Just don't like to pull it 2-3 times !!!! I would be interested in just these also, but I think the only way they can be had is within the total gold package(or at least was).
