Windshield Broke

so my windshield broke today while I was driving on the freeway. a small rock hit it and it cracked, I called the dealer and they want $1400. rain sensors and all, I then called this place my brother took his porsche cayman to replace his and they did an excellent job and they quoted me $500.00 with the rain sensor and all.

what should I do?

That depends on two things. One is what your insurance will pay and the other is what kind of glass are you getting from the other place. Is it genuine Lexus stuff?

If you were in Texass I would say this is the norm. Chip repair is all over since insurance is null in this area.
