kernls
Hi all, Any body has the same problem of clanking noise while releasing brake pedal quickly? The local dealer said the noise was from the hard plastic contact between pedal and stopper and was normal to Lexus design. They refused to do anything to fix it even though the car still in warranty. The clanking is a kind of unbearable in such a quiet car. Lexus is not what used to be in quality and service. There is only one dealer in my area, which is horrible in customer service. Any responses would be greatly appreaciated.
Croatone
My 2001 LS430 does the same thing. It just encourages me to drive less aggresive. Mine makes a clunk when the brake pedal reaches the top of its travel after i depress it. I have learned to release the pedal smoother and it goes away.
