bobgladwyne Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I just bought my 2008 ES 350 and noticed that my heated seats barely get warm compared to other cars I have owned. The dealer tested the temperature and said it meets the factory specs. I am very disappointed. Any suggestions or thoughts.
Rickanns Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I would agree that the heated seats on the Lexus are not as warm as those on my VW Touareg. Maybe it is not as cold in Japan as it is in Slavakia. Rick
JagLady Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I have the same issue...Lexus checked them and said mine reach 90 degrees (I think that's the temp). I rode in my friend's '08 Avalon, and I almost burned my bum!!

You are right the seats dont get that warm but I think they are effective, Also I kind of like that the seats dont get that warm because the way the seat temp controls are located its easy to leave them on.
Lexusfreak Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I've noticed the same thing on my 05 ES.......so I guess it's normal. Got to love the 'cooled' seats feature though which works great.....especially on black leather lol. B)
AZ08LexusES Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I think it works fine, but, the coldest it got for us here in AZ was in the high 20's. I don't want to be sweating down there when the seats are too hot! The cooling is great for those AZ summers though!
