Es 330 Side Window Visors

I'm considering getting a set of side window visors & have found several sites that offer them & the prices vary widely. Anyone install these & any opinions / feedback on them are appreciated. I have been told that if you do get them, to stick with JDM or nothing. I just wonder how these will hold up over time too. Here are the sites that I have found that offer them...

I bought these on ebay and they flew away!!! well one did the others are still on. they sell better ones that you can have put in rather than just stuck on the outside so in my opinion if you are willign to spend the moeny on them I would buy it from the dealer because they are all cut different so its hard to see what you are going to get over the net! I have purchased from here before. And even if I had an issue, they refunded or did an exchange without question. I have never had a problem with them. And I had the weather techs on some of my other cars in the past and I have had no complaints at all. They looked great, fit right, and have lasted for years. Remember though, they are just plastic. But I can save you a few more bucks also, and free shipping from here. :)

I looked into visors years ago. My opinion: as long as they don't cover up the chrome trim of the door, then they would look somewhat decent.

If they have to tape onto the crhome rail of the door, then it will look totally "add-on" and very cheap. The first one you listed says it installs in the window channel and actually still shows the chrome trim in the picture, so that one I would vote for. However, will it create a draft when the window is closed and will the window now leak since something else is in the window channel?

Lastly, the big question is how far out to the side do they protrude. It is fine on a truck but if you get a 2 inch protrusion out from the side of the window you will remind me of my grandmother's Buick. I saw a set for the ES than actually has no protusion, they literally came straight down from the window channel, but I forget where. I do remember they were over $200 too. Too much for my wallet.

I agree Steve.....you get what you pay for.....I'm holding off on this for the time being (no money right now anyways lol) & definately don't want my ride looking like a Buick!

Hi,

In MHO The weathertech guards are above and beyond the others. I have used them B4 on my '99 tahoe, '05 Silverado, & now my '04 ES330.

They are IN the window channel and do not interfere with the Glass at all. I have the light smoke tint and they look and perform excellent!

nice to open the window a couple of inches on a rainy day without having to wipe down the back seats when u get where you r going!
