Fuel Leak By The Engine

Hey all:

I started to get a gas smell when starting up my engine. Upon further inspection, I found that when I started my car, there would be a little squirt of gasoline that came out of a (this is the hard part - I have no idea of what this part is) bolt look-alike thingy, that is hollow inside the screw, has a top-hat shaped head (which is hollow I believe), and has a little opening at the top of it, from which the gasoline squirts out. Facing the engine while standing next to the front driver side wheel, this part sits to the right of oil tank, connecting to a fuel line and a fuel bar (I believe this is what it is called). Please help me out. I need to fix this problem ASAP.

Thanks ahead of time.

sounds like a banjo fitting from what you describe..

I'd advise you not to drive it!! Have you had it checked out? Tried to tighten it or anything?

Can you take a photo?
