Once you have learned how to do it, recharging the system is fairly easy. It is worth learning how, because having it done professionally is very expensive. You can get the exact same results doing it yourself and you save a very substantial amount of money. The low side service port is where you recharge the system. It has a black dust cap covering it. There is a smaller one that looks similar with a red cap, the high side service port. You should never attempt to charge the system from this port, but it is nearly impossible to do so because the connectors will not physically fit. Take a look at some of these instructional videos.
