Recommended Posts

hey guys i just bought a 1999 lexus sc300 it drives and looks great! im considering doing some modifications to help fuel economy and at the same time give it some more bang i was wondering what a good cold air intake for the sc300 would be ive been looking around dont see many but i was just thinking i could buy one for the is300 since they have the same motor. Also would exhaust down pipe and headers make a big difference in mpg and what are some good brands i was looking into greddy? planing on changing the oil to a good synthetic any good specific brands?sorry for all the questions ill have some pics of the ride hopefully tomorrow btw im in WA and would love to go to some lexus meets if you lexus owners in WA have one organized please let me know

welcome to the club. Love the colour.

THe SC3 is an open diffy car so one will spin. My 5speed came with a 1.0diffy.

BTW don't think you'll be able to get better fuel economy without the stock setup. new intake will add 2-4 HP but it will change the air/fuel mixture.

I'd suggest keeping the Integra stock and use it as your daily commuter.

Got anymore pics of your Angel Eyes.
