greg hj Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I am in New Zealand and have imported a Japanese domestic market is350. It has a hard drive based sat nav package with japanese female voice prompts. Can anyone help in deleting these prompts or loading English commands ( it wontccept the NZ sat nav CD). Also I can't read the Japanese handbook and don't know how to integrate my mobile phone into the bluetooth functions. Buying a whole new system is very expensive and I would rather avoid it when I already have a reversing camera and Mark Levison stereo. However, I don't need Satellite Navigation.

The only people that may give you a real no-fee answer is the Japanese dealer you got your car from or may be Lexus Japan. Good luck.
smooth1 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 You can turn off the voice prompts in the nav. That's an option on the menu. As for loading your bluetooth, you do that from your phone. It's more about what capablities your phone has not the car. I can help you but you have to have your phone with you.

The difficulty is the buttons on the left and right of the screen are in Japanese as is the handbook. Can you assist with the switch and the steps from there
