LSLex Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 Hi LOC USA members! I'm quite new to the Lexus community. I'm from Europe and own an 1999 LS 400 w navigation. The car is in perfect shape and had only 36k miles on the clock when I purchased it. Now it has 43k miles. Here is a picture of it: I recently started to do some maintenance on this car (although it has been well maintained by Lexus over the years). I changed the plugs from Denso to NGK. The Denso looked like new after 40k miles. I also installed LPG and done almost 6k miles on LPG till now. Everything works fine. So far I'm really happy with this car. The noise inside is so low compared to my 99 RL I owned before. And of course the V8 kicks !Removed!. I like to play games with all those Audis and Mercs on the autobahn. Soon I will take it for a top speed ride. The highest I went so far was 140 mph. LSLex Posted February 27, 2008 Author Share Posted February 27, 2008 thank you for the welcome! actually those side markers do work. looks really cool and let the car appear much wider in rear mirrors. now the LS needs some 18" rims. 19" would be nice too, but don't want to spend to much money on this LS. i plan to drive it 2 years and switch to an 2006 LS430 president line.
