Check Engine Light/shaking After Timing Belt Change

Hi,

I had the timing belt in my 97 LS 400 (has about 100K miles) replaced at a Toyota dealership yesterday. Today the check engine light came on. Also, the car shakes when I start it, and also a little when driving. Could the issues be related? Is it possible that the timing belt replacement was not done properly, keading to these issues?

it is either something really simple like a connector or the timing may be off. I'd take it back to the dealership, dont wanna harm you valves.

usually shaky engine after the t-betl change is the incorrect timing, but check the error code first before jumping into conclusions.

I agree with VMF sounds like timing is off....Just for curiousity sake, what was price for job at Toyota vs. Lexus dealer
