My car needs new shocks. Should I get OEM shocks from dealer?

Any idea will be appreciated.

definetly new OEM shocks, you can buy them online and do the job yourself, its pretty straightforward. i got rear shocks for 70$ a piece and front ones for 50% a piece. all OEM toyota parts

May I ask which website you bought those at? Thanx.

I agree with VMF... go with OEM Toyota units. When I replaced them on my old 90' LS400 (removed the stiff KYBs that someone had installed), I paid $52. each for them, but someone said they are higher now?

Yeah, they are much more expensive now:

I remember I bought mine just before they jacked the prices up (I think their was a new part number too?), and I was able to get all 4 of them for about $270 shipped from Sewell.

we snuck in under the wire on that one Blake, both of us. I paid about the same as you did for all four of mine, with tax and shipping. That was when, spring of 2005? when i did all of that tail-bone breaking work?
