RIKI
I am sick and tired of a whistling noise in my LS430 .the noise starts at about 25mph . the car has just 12000 miles .i started noticing the noise around 5000 miles . original dunlop sport tires hv been replaced with michlein tires , still noise persists.so it is not a tire problem . i hv gone to two different lexus dealers , but they r clueless .any suggestion to fix the problem ? hammo400
Hi Ricki, Along with the other members' advice. Check that the weatherstripping / molding where the driver's door closes against the body isn't cracked, torn, worn, detached. This point is where the brunt of the wind hits the car as you're travelling. It's easy for air to get in an improperly sealed door and "whistle". If the car has had any body work on the driver's side, check the fit of the door to the body, uneven fit can also allow wind in to whistle. Good luck G
