silver97 Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 OK, I know this is a hot replacment item and I need a little input. I want to replace my egr valve and have priced them at several web sites. Advance auto has two choices. Niehoff brand $201.99 Standard Motor Products $198.99 Autozone has two choices Wells brand $133.99 Durolast brand 133.99 Anyone know if there is a difference to warrant the extra 65 dollars? Or can you recommend a different source? I do not have a local lexus dealer close by. I have not talked to Toyota.
camlex Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I called toyota for you, internet price is $160.27 If i have to change in my car i will put Toyota. Hope that helps.
mburnickas Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 through a common lexus dealer posted here many times, it is $149 plus S&H.. This is a common issue with these models years. Clean your TB, instake etc. I bet 10000 to 1 it is bad. PS. Is your ECM pulling the EGR code?

Clean your TB, instake etc. I bet 10000 to 1 it is bad. PS. Is your ECM pulling the EGR code? OK, I cleaned the TB, intake and the egr a while back with tb cleaner. I also ran some seafoam in it and it may have helped a little I really can't say. I get the stumbling hesitation thing around 40 mph so I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy the valve. Will you give me the link for the lexus dealer you mentioned? Not sure about the ecm code. I have not had this analyzed and I am not getting a check engine light. Thanks for the help.
