Interchangleable Alternators

Hey guys Im new here i just purchased 93 sc300 auto sunday of last week it has been driving great but today it was raining so i had windshield wipers, headlights, radio and the heat on the battery drained and now im here. :( I think the alternator went out i need to know what other alternators are interchangeable with sc300 one of my friends told me that the gs300 alternator would work is this correct? The one i found is off a 93 gs300.

most likely it should but use your best judgement before acctually installing it ;)

Not sure if this would be an issue, but the sc alternator is rated for 100 amps, but the gs is rated 80 amps.

yeah i finally got a chance to look at it for one the gs300 it has different plugs but i think i would fit but im not willing to start jerry rigging stuff on my baby so i guess i'm looking for an alternator now :(

Check ebay,, I got one for $100.00 ,, no core exchange. By the way,, I have 2 dead alternators if anybody rebuilds them. (sc300)
