indiana
I want to bypass the oxygen sensor behind the cat, because: The cat is fine, but the sensor is bad, one of the bolts is sheared off and would require replacing the entire piece of pipe the sensor is on. I have been scouring the web for info on a bypass lately, but come up with nothing? Maybe I am using the wrong syntax to search? There used to be hundreds of them on ebay, but I suppose as usual someone complained and ebay without investigation or need probably pulled them all off. If anyone knows of how one is made or has links to both a schematic and or maybe to purchase could you please post it?.. Thank you!... :) Indi

May need to make a universal one work though, I did not see a direct fit listed. http://www.o2simulator.com/

You can pick them up at almost any auto parts store. They are usually sold in pairs. What you do is you take one of the anti-fouler plugs and drill a hole through one so the tip of the O2 sensor will fit through the plug. You then take the second antifouler plug and screw it onto the other plug which should already be screwed on to the O2 sensor. What this does is extend the sensor away from the exhuast gases. It basically allows the O2 sensor to get a false reading of your exhuast gases.
