MistaG
My 1990 LS400 idles at about 600 rpm after it warms up. When the car is cold the Power steering works fine but once it warms up it gets extremely hard to turn. But as soon as i slightly step on the gas upon acceleration it gets soft again. It seems like there is no pressure running through the pump at low rpms. It makes for a real tough time to parralel park. Anybody have and ideas? VBdenny
Serpentine (or a Lexus calls it a drive belt) is slipping
SKperformance
also might be the impeller inside the pump going meanign that it is not moving enough fliud around if it was at cold and hot then i would say the pressure solenoid ont the rack is gone which is not telling the pump to send more pressure
