Just Purchased A 1993 Lexus Gs300!

Hello everyone, this is my first post and for the last few days I have been browsing around and I must say that I love this forum already! I recently purchased a 1993 GS300 for $1,500 at a local auction. The only issue I have is their is no window pillar on the drivers side door, and the interior trim needs an upgrade. I will post pictures as soon as I wash and clean her.

Just took a few pictures of the car after washing and waxing her. I have a few issues that i have to address such as missing fog lights, mismatched wheels, terrible seats, missing window trim, and the biggest concern is a slight noise coming from the engine that sounds like a lifter is loose. When I have the car in park, and hit the brakes repeatedly the car sounds as if its about to cut off. But besides that the car rides and feels excellent to be a 1993.

Thanks Smooth! Do you by chance know what might be causing the car to decrease in idle when the brake is hit repeatedly. I know that when I start the car it sounds good, Ill let it run for awhile, then I will hear this noise as if the lifter is loose, then minutes later it will disappear. I have changed the oil recently with 5w-30 due to the previous owner not taking to good care of this beauty. I think Ill do a tune-up next week..

Sounds like the master cylinder may be having some issues. It's probably putting aload on the engine with repaeted brake pressure. You might blead out the old fluid and replace it and see if that clears up the problem. You may just have some moisture in there and that's whats causing the cylinder to work harder to pump up the pressure.
