justin97 Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 ran to the store to buy some oil, and i got some 5w-20, instead of the normal, 5w-30. would it hurt to run the 5w-20 or should i return it.. i dotn feel like driving 20 minutes just to exchage the oil if it wont hurt nothing. It is fine but it might have pros/ cons to it. Better pumping at low temps but 5w20 could have elevated wear. 5w20 was created for CAFE reasons.
