92silverls400 Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 just had my 90k mile service for my 2000 Ls 400. had it done by dealership, cost $1100 at the same time, they replace my starter, water pump, thermosat, and timing belt. plus all the Idler sub- assy, this was a very good bargin. How did i get such a good bargin, I had purchase an extended warranty when I purchased my Ls 400 last year. like people say, pay now or pay later. as you know, I had my throttle body unit, AC blower motor, and cruise control switch replaced. this was all taken care through my extended warranty, which cost me $1500 when I purchased my vehicle. so money was well spent at that time. Yes, I probably could have done my 90K miles services alot cheaper. but all my issues were taken care of during this service. yes my pocket book hurts, but if i waited, it could of cost me a lot more.
