99gs 400

Recommended Posts

hi my lex brothers and sisters, i have a 99gs400, i got it at 109,000 miles and i am at 158,000 now, well, i have not had a single problem with my car, not one. i do my oil change and clean my lifetime filter all the time---the lexus cars are just the best in all forms if you are talking about quality and i am really glad i got that car over the 97 p-boxter that i wanted to get.

my question now is -how do i find out how much horses ive lost over the years through age and wear without having my wallet siezed by a tech guy. i know i should have 300 horses in my ranch and a couple of torques, but i think that as your car ages, even with maintainance, some horses still die off with age and i just want to know how much ive lost and how to get them back and even add more to my awesome lexus horse ranch.................mike

thats like looking at a box and guessing whats inside.... unless you took the car to a dyno when you bought it and compared it to now there really isn't anyway to get an exact number. I do know that in most cases a car with 40k will perform better than a car with just 400 miles but after 40k its anyones guess with compression loss, blowback gases and all that other fun stuff. If you stayed ontop of maintenance then you probably haven't lost much... if anything.
