  1. hi guys, i have 99 gs400 and i drove it yesterday just fine, but this morning when i turned my ignition on, i heard an alarm coming from inside the car and my brake light was on. when i wanted to move, i noticed that my brakes had locked up(unresponsive-just as it would , when the car is not running-hard to the touch and will not hold) to describe exactly how it feels, just step on your brakes when your ignition is turned off...i called lexus road side and they didnt know. someone please help because thats my only means of transportation. i think it might be a relay fuse but i just dont know how to confirm that. each day that goes by without me working is a major loss of money. please lexus friends, help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. hi my lex brothers and sisters, i have a 99gs400, i got it at 109,000 miles and i am at 158,000 now, well, i have not had a single problem with my car, not one. i do my oil change and clean my lifetime filter all the time---the lexus cars are just the best in all forms if you are talking about quality and i am really glad i got that car over the 97 p-boxter that i wanted to get. my question now is -how do i find out how much horses ive lost over the years through age and wear without having my wallet siezed by a tech guy. i know i should have 300 horses in my ranch and a couple of torques, but i think that as your car ages, even with maintainance, some horses still die off with age and i just want to know how much ive lost and how to get them back and even add more to my awesome lexus horse ranch.................mike
  3. hi member, i have a 99gs 400 and i didnt know what system i had too until i went on ebay to purchase wooddash trim. it showed me a diagram of both systems and their names and its from those pics that i found out that mine is pioneer, so i suggest you go an ebay and search for wooddash trim and it will send you to those diagrams. the diagram is usually the front of your audio system which differs slightly between pioneer and nak.....goodluck
