Yesterday I washed my 93 SC400 and the idle changed. Before I went to the carwash I put power streering fluid in and spilled a little in the engine bay, so I went to the carwash and washed the car. I opened the hood and sprayed a little water on the spill while the engine was running. Not a lot just enough to clean the spill. The car ran fine while I drove it home about 3 miles. I turned it off, when I turned it back on it idled really bad! It idles faster and lopes between 1000-1300. If I don't put on the brake it will take off at a speed of 25 mph. I checked all of the vacuem lines, and there are not leaks I'm stumped! Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thanks,

Ray

Did you check to see if the throttle cable maybe hung up?

You probably have some water built up near your TPS and distributor cap. Try blowing it out with some compressed air.
