Lexol Conditioning Question

Recommended Posts

Its not clear to me how much to spray on for a large sedan. The instructions say to spray 2 or 3 half dollar sized amounts for the entire cleaned area. But how much is an area? I ended up respraying on the cloth after each seat or so. Was that overkill?

No that's not true. You definitely want to condition the leather. It's just that with coated leather it doesn't soak in as much conditioner as uncoated leather does. That's why it's so important to keep conditioning the leather on a regular basis so it doesn't dry out. You will notice that if you condition the leather more frequently that it will soften up.

I actually disagree. Thats the best part about coated leather, just keep it clean and you really dont have to condition it much. Some have found over conditioning wears away the protective coating.
