The window on my 2002 RX300 will not go up now. I went to the dealership here in Santa Monica, California, and they told me the motor went out. the motor is $500 and the labor he said will be around $200. Has this ever happened to anyone? Do you know a way I can get it replaced for a lot cheaper?

Thanks, Angie

It just cost me $460 for the very same thing on my 1995 Saturn. I'd say being a Lexus it would cost more of course.

More likely the series thermistor (heat sensitive resistor) used to protect the motor if someone "leans" on the button after the end of trvael is reached. Sill inside the door, but....
