js0873
The override sequence for entering navigational destinations on the fly (Menu/Volume/Top Left/Bottom Left/etc.) works just fine for my 2004 navigation system with mapping software 4.2. Does anyone know if this gets eliminated on newer mapping DVD updates? I know that ability has been eliminated on newer navigation user interface systems, like in the 2007 models, but I'm wondering if I'll lose that ability if I simply update the mapping data on my car.
