Illuminated Scuff Plates

I am interested in getting this mod done to my car... Does anyone know of any good sites to order these from, i really want the best deal. I just want them for the front, and does anyone know if this mod is possible on an IS 250 w/o the luxury package.

I haven't seen anything that says you can have them illuminate if you don't have the luxury package since there's no power being supplied down there. I've been looking for aluminum scuff plates for my car for a while, but haven't seen any that aren't the illuminating ones.

With the base model, the pre-existing wires will not be there, but you can still easily install the illuminated sill plates.

All you need to do is run a power wire to it which you can run right from the fuse box or from the interior lights lead.

People say the wiring is there in the 07 models. One thing you gotta make sure to have the dome light set to come on when you open the door or the scuff plates won't light up.
