NikolinaJ
HI, Can somebody help me please? I just replaced my AC compressor and converted it to 134 and it worked fine for a day. Yesterday afternoon the AC light started blinking and it stopped working. I left it for about two hrs and turned back on and it worked fine again. Today it's working so I was just wandering what could be causing that? The frion isn't low or anything. Help please.
RFeldes
Sorry to hear you are having problems after your changeover. A blinking light to me suggests several things. In order of Hope Freon is borderline, Connector for RPM sensor under the new Compressor is loose or needs cleaning, Clutch is Suspect or a bad new compressor. Hopefuly, you replaced the "Evaporator" ( an inexpensive part) along with the compressor and pulled a vaccum before conversion. Of course I assume the lubricant was in the new compressor.
