Air Mix Servomotor Circuit (a/c Error Code 41)

Good morning, everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knew some troubleshooting steps for this error code- I did some searching and found info on the vacuum servo on the firewall behind the ABS system- but I'm not sure that this is where I need to begin looking.. Anyone have any more specific info on this error? Where do I begin?

Factory manual for 2000 model year says code 41 indicates a problem in the air mix servomotor "circuit". Trouble could really be : 1)Air mix servomotor, 2)Air mix damper position sensor, 3)Harness and connector between A/C control assembly and air mix position sensor, or 4)Harness and connectorbetween A/C control assembly and air mix damper control servomotor.

Is the air mix servomotor the vacuum controlled servo right behind the ABS system? Where do you recommend i start troubleshooting? Also, pics would be helpful, as I have no real service manual..

Air mix servo motor is inside vehicle under the dash. A good, fast way to troubleshoot is with help of a factory service manual. You can download all you need for $10.00 a day at https://techinfo.toyota.com/
