BlurrySC300 Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 Thanks all y'all. Your input with the headlights being smoky and how to clean them was VERY helpful. Looks like new! One quick question: Does anyone know if any manufacturer has ever produced headlights for the SC300 in glass as apposed to plastic? Seems like it would make more sense for them to be glass. Just my two cents though. Thanks again! --John
SPORTcoupe300 Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 So what did you end up doing to the headlights? Did you take them out and "dry" them. Or did you do the light sanding from the outside?
BlurrySC300 Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 Went with the sanding. Easier than I imagined...you'd be amazed at all the stuff that comes off. --John
BlurrySC300 Posted September 1, 2003 Author Posted September 1, 2003 Yeah, really easy to do and almost IMMEDIATE results...you just soak the light down and sand away...took me a little bit to find 2000 grit sandpaper but i found it...just start sanding and then all of the sudden the water will turn murky and then you just wipe that away and put fresh water on and repeat OVER and OVER and OVER again. I HIGHLY recommend this if your headights are cloudy. --John
