Yimbie Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Will there be any differences between a 07 IS350 and a 08 IS350? I'm not sure if I should just get the Lexus IS350 next week or wait until September to get an 08 model (if there are any changes that would interest me).

Lexus made a major change in the IS product line for the 2006 model year, so it's highly unlikely that there will be big changes in store for '08. The biggest change will likely be a price increase. So why not buy now and enjoy driving your new car all summer?
Rx330driver Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 agreed its unknown. Usually the changes will include the TSBs that are out there. THey will probably fix common problems, rattles etc.
salimmer Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 The cost to borrow/ finance the 2008 model will definitely br higher than for the 2007 model. The lease rates will also be higher than the current rates of the 2007 models. If you can get what color and options you want in the 2007 model I would go for it now. You can bargain down the purchase price of the year end vehicles better than at the beginning of a new car season.

bartkat Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Supplies of 08 models may be late or low because a major parts supplier got shut down by the recent earthquakes in Japan. Several auto plants have shut down due to lack of parts.

I heard the 08 has a hovercraft option. :D What is hovercraft option ??? With the flick of a switch, huge fans flip from the trunk lid, and an inflatable skirt surrounds the vehicle. You can then do upwards of 55 mph on water. Actually, it was a joke. <_<
