I Want To Change My Air Filter 2003 Ls430

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends,

Does anyone have pics or discription of how to change air filter?

I just got a K&N filter and want to see if MPG changes.

on 6/4/07 I'm having the tranny flushed and maybe the timing belt changed.

the car has 46,000 miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner and don't know how the other owner took care of it.

thanks in advance

Carmine

No reason to change the timing belt @46k, Wait for at least 90k for the tb. Here is the air filter tutorial: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/maintenance/airfilter.html

You owe me a beer

A good idea would be to change to the K&N cold air induction system. It requires a little more work than just the filter but makes a bigger difference in performance and economy. My K&N air filter really didn't seem to improve my fuel milage but that might be attributed to my heavy right foot enjoying the extra power.
