Best Hid Kit

Hi

I want to get HID installed on my IS350. It is my baby and I want to have the best possible out there. What HID kit is good out there? I called a few places they were offering ALPHA, XETRONIC, and I myself looked on ebay and saw MTEC and on this forum which had good feedbacks.

Which of these are the highest quality? Is it easy enough for me to install it or should I take it to a store? For those of you who have gotten HIDs installed in Orange County. Please give me the shop you went to or recommend.

What do you recommend getting and doing?

Please help me I am trying to get this fixed by end of this week.

The highest quality ones are the OEM ones for your car.

MTEC is good. They have the starter and ballast all in one unit. Installation isn't that hard except it's somewhat difficult to gain access to the covers behind the bulbs. Lots of people have done it though.

I put these 4300 H1 on my Porsche for under $200 and am satisfied with them.

I suppose they work on any light housing, but I have no idea.

If you have not installed these before, get a friend who has.

The instructions most of them come with are not enough.

I have GP Thunder in my fogs and am very satisfied with them. What color temperature are you looking at installing?

Anyone heard anything about the Phillips or Catz kits?

Catz is good. I had a set about 5 years ago on a Civic. They were just fine.
